Hey guys,
So a little update on the activities and festivities of Cobalt. We had an awesome
Christmas break, we played a couple shows, wrote a song or two and got some of the new demo tracked. All thats left to do
on the new demo is vocals, which should be done soon. Our last demo (Clueless and lark) basicly...sucked. But it was a blast
making it. The song "Paradise" got radio play and thats pretty cool. Other then that, the demo was a flop. So we have higher
expectations on our new project. It probbly won't have as many songs, but the songs it does have won't make you cringe. The
only repeat song on it is "My Hero" which we gave a face lift and it now sounds much gooder. As soon as we finish it up, we
will put a few of the songs on our myspace (myspace.com/cobaltband) and that way you can give a listen to them. We are also
planning a summer tour which will be fun I am sure. If you have a youth group or other venue you'd like to see us at, e-mail
us and we'll see what we can do. So untill next time. This is Silas saying...bu bye.

You know whats cool about today? Its 5/5/05. Pretty nifty eh? We have some
new shows lined up for the month of july. That makes us happy. What makes us even happier is
that one of those shows is us opening for Seven Places. They rock and thats cool. We are also going to play at the walk
for life this month in Pendleton, OR. This is a cool thing for us because our first show was played at the same walk
for life. It was 3 songs and we really sucked. Good times. Ummm....Thousand Foot Krutch has a new cd comming out and
that makes me glad that I like Thousand Foot Krutch. Come to our shows. You'll be glad you did.

So I just posted the other day. But I shall now post again. Spencer and Tyler were driving
home the other night with a load of our gear in the back. They where almost home when Spen decided it would be fun to roll
the car 3 times. Tyler and Spencer are both ok. However, Tyler's guitar and amp weren’t as lucky. They are
both toast. And in this form of the word "toast", "toast" = "broken into tiny bits". So Tyler
bought a new amp and is currently guitar shopping. Until he gets a new one, he'll be using my De Armond Les Paul. It was my
first guitar that broke like 800 million times, so I had to rewire the sucker with speaker wire and has only broke 120
million times since. Hopefully it won't die on him on stage.
In other news, we wrote a new song that is actually not to horrible. I don't play guitar at all in
it (which is really weird for me) and Jeff is a beast and plays a ton of double bass as well as a very fine cross beat. I
am so very proud. We plan to introduce this song to the world by kicking off our show on the 14th with it. Thank
you..and good night.

Just wanted to give word about a summer tour that is in the works. We plan to hit
the road with a local worship band and play shows across the northwest. We are very excited about this and hope you come to
check us out! Also, we have found a recording studio that we plan to work with and get an EP out soon. So....untill next time,
this is me saying bye....so uhhh....bye.

Hi. We played a show last night in Pendleton OR. It was by far our favroite
show to date. The only probblem was when some crazy kid desided to stage dive and unplugged a power cord that our amps where
plugged intro. Then another kid stage dived and knocked over Spen's mic. Fun stuff. A fine young man named John Mott ran our
sound and lights and did a dandy job. When we finished our last song and started to leave the stage, something cool happened.
People started chanting "One more song, one more song, one more song". It pumped me up to say the least. We had no more songs
to play so we played Sadie Hawkins Dance by Relient K. Good times. We got asked to play April 14 with a couple other bands
at the same place. That should be a kick. You should come.

Welcome to this new year. We have not been playing any shows, which is bad. Our
friends hear us practice alot though, I am sure they are sick of us. But we like them anyway. Man pretty crazy, thats all
I can say. Spen got all his teeth pulled today, or wait I think it was just his wisdom ones. Send him candy lots for it, with
peanut butter in it! YEAH! We now have new gear. Silas got him self a pretty nifty Crate half stack, which a 120 watt head.
And Jeff got him a new druming devise. Its cool, makes a good sound. Spen got him a new Crate Combo, with a 120 watt
head and 2 12 inch speakers. Yet to be used for Cobalt, but I still like it. And I got a 100 watt Marshal head from our
good music buddy Billy, and recently recvied my Marshall cab from the UPS man, what a sweet heart! Well I am off, enjoy
your new year come to our shows, and buy our cd's and lunch pails. YEAH!

Last night we played at The Underground in Walla Walla with this really cool
band called A Chance Without. They freakin rocked. And are cool guys too. Not alot of people turned out for the event, but
it was fun to play rock star for a night. We had alot of technical probblems. But our sound guy Devin had our back and fix
them. My ears are ringing and I am hungry so I am going to go eat.
